The Mobile IoT Innovators Showcase at Mobile World Congress 2017

The Mobile IoT Innovators Showcase was a competition initiated by the GSMA Internet of Things Programme to enable innovative companies to make their contribution to a connected future built on licensed Mobile IoT solutions. Provided with easy-to-use development kits for NB-IoT and LTE-M, this was a unique opportunity for aspiring companies to develop unprecedented products using the latest Mobile IoT standards.
The winners and runners-up for both categories had the unique opportunity to showcase their solutions at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. Find out more about the participating companies and their solutions in the short videos below.

Virtual Showcase

Mobile IoT (licensed spectrum Low Power Wide Area) networks are a high-growth area of the IoT and will play an important role in connecting up billions of new devices. Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technologies have emerged to serve a diverse range of vertical industries and applications that use low data rates, require long battery lives, are low cost, and often operate in remote and hard to reach locations. Mobile operators already run dozens of trials of LPWA technologies in licensed spectrum, standardised by 3GPP. The first commercial mobile operator launches are planned for 2017.
The GSMA Mobile IoT Innovators community provides an easy way for companies interested in Mobile IoT solutions to keep up to date with the latest information and industry developments. Apply now and become a member of the GSMA Mobile IoT Innovators.
