Value of GSMA Security Guidelines Discussed at Samsung Developer Conference

IoT Security expert Don Bailey is well known for being the first person to remotely hack a connected car and A-GPS system. Following these achievements, he was awarded a DARPA Grant on M2M/IoT Security to contribute towards the security of the Internet of Things. Most recently, Bailey has prided himself on a new achievement: The development of the GSMA IoT Security Guidelines.
In this video taken at the Samsung Developer Conference, Bailey explains the root causes of common security gaps in modern IoT products and services and how they can be combatted. The GSMA IoT Security Guidelines, which he wrote in partnership with the GSMA, provide executives and engineers with a successful security base architecture, and in his opinion will be a crucial component in a secure and scalable IoT.
