GSMA Connected Living Tracker
The GSMA Connected Living Tracker is a customised tool which collates mobile products and services around the globe in order to share the rapid growth of the connected mobile business opportunity. Within our sectors of interest, Automotive, Education, Health and Smart Cities, we aim to include all connected solutions, highlighting the name of the solution, the organisation providing the service*, and the country of origin**. The data is sourced from professional consulting companies and from within the GSMA. We encourage all who are engaged in this space to submit their products and services whether trials or commercial launches.
*Where multiple operators are involved in a single project, one product/service is counted for each of the operators involved
**Note the number of deployments per country is shown on the map on the capital city
As well as tracking the Mobile Services in each vertical sector, Connected Living has begun to track the devices these services operate on.
In this initial phase, the Connected Living Devices Tracker is presented in a spreadsheet and it represents a combination of research carried out by Grail Research, additional categorisation by the Connected Living Team and desk based research identifying new devices.
In order to improve the coverage of the Tracker any organisation who produces a device supporting mHealth, mAutomotive, mEducation or Smart Cities services can email the details to be added. Details of how to submit a device for inclusion in tracker are included in the Methodology and Notes section of the Connected Living Devices Tracker.
The spreadsheet will be updated on a monthly basis the while the categorization and user interface is being developed.
