Mobile Connect, the state of the art authentication solution designed to facilitate the secure, private and convenient use of digital services, will be fully showcased in the GSMA Innovation City at Mobile World Congress 2016.
Inside the Mobile Connect Demo Area, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in interactive demonstrations of the solution across a number of verticals including banking, content and ecommerce. This area will also exhibit the interoperability of Mobile Connect when used with eGovernment initiatives. This follows the recent success of the Mobile Connect cross-border border pilot, where the solution was used to identify an EU citizen of one Member State in order to gain access to a public service of another.
The Mobile Connect Discovery Bar will offer those interested in Mobile Connect a unique chance to meet programme experts and learn the step-by-step onboarding process for Operators and digital service providers. An enlarged mobile phone will also be demonstrate the full range of Mobile Connect use cases, sample screens and product categories.
The diverse range of applications of Mobile Connect will also be evident in Etisalat’s mobile health Internet of Things solution, which uses Mobile Connect to enable sportspeople, coaches and family members to access an athlete’s performance data in real time. This highly secure user-friendly format is design to improve professional performance or individual lifestyle. The UAE-based operator will also showcase how Mobile Connect is used to confirm transactions in their Virtual Mall, which allows consumers to digitally interact with stores and explore products in an innovative 3D enabled format.
