Saudi Telecom responds to high digital content demand by activating 2×100 Gbps

Chicago, May 13, 2015 TI Sparkle, the International Services arm of Telecom Italia Group and Saudi Telecom announce the provisioning of the first 2×100 Gbps of IP Transit connectivity in the Middle East.

The 2×100 Gbps IP Transit Connectivity represents an unparalleled throughput capability and will effectively serve Saudi Telecom’s eyeballs in the Kingdom and the Region with best in class performance that empowers the largest IP gateway in the Middle East.

Saudi Telecom continues to play a leadership role in the telecoms sector and remains at the forefront of innovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as in the Middle East Region, as demonstrated by its activation of 2×100 Gbps IP Ports in order to accommodate the accelerating demand for top quality IP services and digital content.
