Mobile offers a unique opportunity to address the knowledge and information gap faced by over 500 million farmers in the developing world. This toolkit is a step by step guide for mobile operators and VAS providers to design and launch Agricultural Value-added Services (Agri VAS) for the fast growing rural market. Following a user-centred design approach to product development, we present a suite of tools to support service providers in developing relevant and commercially viable services.
