Messaging platforms are now bigger than most social networks and this trend looks set to continue in 2017 with bots playing a prominent role.

The GSMA’s Network 2020 programme is working closely with operators, OEMs and operating system providers on the roll-out of Advanced Messaging, built on one specification, the GSMA’s Universal Profile.

Operators globally are upgrading SMS to Advanced Messaging, providing 6.7 billion subscribers with a superior and enhanced experience that works simply and consistently across devices, without the need to download multiple messaging apps.

This seminar will explore messaging as a platform and the future of chatbots and conversational commerce.
