Children’s use of mobile phones: An international comparison 2013 image

Children’s use of mobile phones – An international comparison 2013 provides a detailed picture of children’s mobile phone behaviour in Algeria, Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

The GSMA and NTT docomo’s Mobile Society Research Institute have partnered on an ongoing research project to investigate children’s use of mobile services around the world, publishing a report each year since 2009.

With the research project now in its fifth year, this 2013 study surveyed 3,560 pairs of children and their parents/guardians. It builds on previous research studies, and features Algeria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia for the first time.
