GSMA Digital Transformation Acceleration Forum’s first virtual seminar for 2022 will focus on the importance of collaboration in accelerating sector wide digital transformation and growth of ecosystems across the wider economy. “Digital Transformation” began humbly 10+ years ago digitally transforming business processes to become more productive and efficient at the enterprise level. Latest development of new enabling technologies coupled with fast and robust telecoms networks, its scope of application is now much wider digitally transforming sectors, industries, societies and economies.
In digitally pioneering countries, the commercial deployment of 5G networks and services and collaborative approach to industry promotion and development have had an effect of accelerating digital transformation across sectors. To fully realize the benefits of sector wide digital transformation, collaboration between governments, industries, ecosystem players and startups plays a key role in ensuring the creation of a leading, innovative and sustainable digital ecosystem.
