This award recognizes world-class leadership in the establishment of sound telecommunications regulatory policies, based on clear principles that encourage private investment, such as transparency, free and fair competition, and regulatory independence. |

GSMA Participation in SATRC Council Meeting |
|
GSMA participated in the SATRC Council Meeting in Dhaka on 3-5 October. GSMA also participated in a panel discussion on Spectrum for Future wherein it highlighted the need for spectrum in various frequency ranges, the importance of WRC-23 and IMT identification of 6 GHz band. The Council meeting finalized agenda for next two years cycle of SATRC which includes various issues of interest for GSMA and its members on Spectrum and various other policy and regulatory matters. |
