This is especially the case considering the rapid development and broad deployment of 5G, and increasing implementation of AI technologies (including cloud and edge intelligence), quantum computing, blockchain and other transformative innovations. Meanwhile, the cross-sector nature of the ASEAN Connectivity Strategic Plan underlines the need for a holistic approach to digitalisation.
