The industry\u2019s economic contribution will reach $270 billion by 2030, driven by the continued expansion of mobile services and growing adoption of digital technologies, including 5G, AI and IoT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5G adoption is still in its early stages in Eurasia, but the technology will account for 41% of the region\u2019s mobile connections by 2030. To date, eight operators in four Eurasian countries have launched commercial 5G services, with an additional nine operators planning deployments in the coming years. 4G is the region\u2019s dominant mobile technology and will reach peak adoption in 2025, before gradually declining as the rollout of 5G gathers pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mobile Economy Eurasia 2025 examines key trends shaping the mobile industry in the region, including 5G momentum, AI adoption, GSMA Open Gateway and spectrum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mobile technologies and services generated $220 billion for the Eurasian economy in 2024, equivalent to 7.7% of GDP.
