The industry\u2019s economic contribution will reach $300 billion by 2030, driven by the continued expansion of mobile services and adoption of digital technologies, including 5G, AI and IoT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5G adoption is still in its early stages in Eurasia, but the technology will account for 30% of the region\u2019s mobile connections by 2030. To date, commercial 5G services have launched in nine countries across Eurasia; Armenia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are the leading 5G markets, with adoption rates of between 4 and 5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Digital services have emerged as a promising opportunity to diversify revenue streams beyond core connectivity, with regional operators expanding into areas including commerce, entertainment, payments, infrastructure and AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mobile Economy Eurasia 2026 examines key trends shaping the mobile industry in the region, including 5G momentum, AI, the growth of digital services, digital inclusion and spectrum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uncover key trends in Eurasia\u2019s mobile industry Mobile technologies and services generated $270 billion for the Eurasian economy in 2025, equivalent to 8.1% of GDP.
