Discussions covered satellite and mobile connectivity, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, international cooperation and preparations for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\ud83d\udcf1 Stimulating investment in mobile infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tair Ismailov, Strategic Engagement Director, GSMA Eurasia, presented the GSMA report Mobile Investment in Eurasia, highlighting approaches to creating policy and regulatory environments that support sustainable investment in mobile networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The presentation addressed key factors influencing investment in the region and highlighted the importance of predictable regulation and investment-friendly policy frameworks in supporting continued network development and connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\ud83e\udd1d Strengthening regional cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the discussions, the RCC Council took note of the GSMA proposals on effective approaches to stimulating investment in the mobile industry across Eurasia, reflecting continued dialogue between GSMA and regional stakeholders on creating the conditions for sustainable digital infrastructure development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GSMA continues to cooperate with the RCC, governments, regulators and industry stakeholders, contributing mobile industry expertise and supporting investment, connectivity and sustainable digital development across Eurasia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gsma.com\/about-us\/regions\/eurasia\/gsma_resources\/igniting-mobile-investment-in-eurasia\/\">Read the report<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gsma.com\/about-us\/regions\/eurasia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/RCC_2_1200x628-1024x536.png\" alt=\"Conference room with attendees seated at tables.
