The public consultation follows the Commission\u2019s Inception Impact Assessment and a number of other initiatives that the Commission has recently undertaken in relation to tackling illegal content online; namely, the Commission\u2019s Communication on Tackling Illegal Content Online from September 2017, and its Recommendation on Measures to effectively tackle illegal content online from March
