The GSMA and Connect Europe, representing the European mobile communications industry, welcome the opportunity to comment on the Draft RSPG Work Programme 2026 and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We appreciate RSPG\u2019s commitment to transparency and stakeholder inputs. At the same time, we would welcome further opportunities to contribute as the programme develops. For example, by actively participating or providing input in the Peer Review activities so discussions can reflect the practical experience of those delivering connectivity across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This work programme comes at a very important moment for the sector. Europe is reassessing how it supports digital networks, services and investments\u2013 and the decisions taken now will set the tone for the coming years. Through the Digital Networks Act and other legislative proposals, the bloc has an opportunity to tackle fragmented regulation and long-standing underinvestment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Given that spectrum is a core enabler of digital growth, innovation and advanced connectivity, it is important that the RSPG\u2019s expertise is fully reflected in the wider policy process. By drawing on RSPG\u2019s insight, the EU can ensure that the spectrum policies now under development support a harmonised, pro-investment and future-proof framework to secure and resilient connectivity across the Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the specific work items detailed in the draft work programme, the GSMA and Connect Europe would like to provide their comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
