Key barriers to mobile internet adoption and use<\/strong>.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsma.com\/solutions-and-impact\/connectivity-for-good\/external-affairs\/we-care\/\">We Care<\/a>, a global initiative led by the GSMA to support the mobile industry\u2019s commitment in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, around 25% of the Brazilian population (54 million people) live within coverage of a network but do not use mobile internet services. The study highlights three main barriers to overcome this situation: affordability, sector-specific tax burdens and digital literacy.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the diagnosis, the mobile industry proposed to the authorities a series of public policy recommendations focused on improving digital literacy, reforming the tax policy of the mobile sector and boosting\u00a0investment incentives.<\/p>\n<p>The report highlights a series of initiatives put in place by mobile operators in Brazil to address barriers such as digital literacy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A GSMA lan\u00e7ou junto com as operadoras Algar, Claro, TIM e Vivo o relat\u00f3rio \u2018Reduzindo as barreiras de uso no Brasil.
