Electronic waste is a growing issue throughout the world and will increase by 17.5 per cent in Latin America and 19.1 per cent in Colombia between 2012 and 2015. Aware of these issues, the colombian mobile network operators (MNOs) are currently carrying out voluntarily initiatives to recycle mobile phones, batteries and accessories.
