En las Am\u00e9ricas se licenciaron 820* MHz de espectro en la banda AWS en 12 pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n: Estados Unidos, Canad\u00e1, Chile, M\u00e9xico, Colombia, Per\u00fa, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Honduras y Rep\u00fablica Dominicana. En estos pa\u00edses, los operadores invirtieron USD 20.136 millones en adquisici\u00f3n de frecuencias.
