On this occasion, the GSMA, the global association representing mobile network operators, presents a series of proposals for Peru&#8217;s next administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result of decades of sustained investment in network infrastructure and in developing the skilled workforce required to support connectivity, Peru&#8217;s mobile operators have achieved\u00a095% mobile internet coverage\u00a0of the population. However, a significant usage gap remains:\u00a039% of the population covered by the mobile network footprint\u00a0does not benefit from connectivity due to a range of barriers, including device affordability, limited digital skills, the lack of relevant local content, and security concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This report aims to serve as a resource for the country&#8217;s new authorities as they continue to foster an inclusive, competitive, and resilient digital ecosystem capable of addressing today&#8217;s challenges and building a more prosperous future for society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report presents a series of public policy and regulatory recommendations built around three key pillars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthening the institutional and regulatory framework of the digital ecosystem.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enabling agile, efficient, and modern infrastructure deployment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advancing digital inclusion as a driver of national development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Peru 2030: Policies for the Digital (R)evolution&#8221;\u00a0is part of the GSMA&#8217;s\u00a0Digital Agenda for New Governments series.
