GSMA had a strong presence at the congress, where its stand was a meeting point for mobile operator and mobile ecosystem representatives.<\/p>\n<p>The GSMA stand at Futurecom 2015 gave visitors a first-hand opportunity to try Mobile Connect, the digital authentication solution that lets users log in to online services through their mobile without the need to use personal information or remember multiple passwords. <a href=\"https:\/\/mobileconnect.io\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mobile Connect<\/a> will be the new standard for digital authentication and identity, as it allows mobile operators to offer users a safer log-in system while protecting their privacy.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Rw4AQ6JI_kc\" height=\"363\" width=\"635\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>During the panel \u2018Digital Business: what are the challenges and the next steps?\u2019, GSMA Strategic Engagement Director, Valter Wolf, highlighted the importance of this solution to simplify online transactions, guarantee their security and boost mobile commerce. \u2018Mobile Connect combines the user\u2019s mobile number and a PIN to verify and authenticate their identity, without any personal data being shared,\u2019 Wolf explained.<\/p>\n<p>Also present at Futurecom 2015 was Jos\u00e9 Antonio Aranda, GSMA Technology Director for Latin America, who detailed some of the results of GSMA research in China, the United States and Europe. According to reports, 87 per cent of survey subjects would prefer a single password to remember and 86 per cent said they had left a site when asked to register.
