En el mundo, cerca de 3.200 millones de personas se encuentran conectadas \u2013 2.400 millones a trav\u00e9s del m\u00f3vil \u2013 contribuyendo y benefici\u00e1ndose directamente con la econom\u00eda digital. Sin embargo, 4.000 millones todav\u00eda est\u00e1n desconectadas no pudiendo acceder a los beneficios y oportunidades del mundo conectado.<\/p>\n<p>La poblaci\u00f3n que hoy est\u00e1 desconectada se encuentra principalmente en regiones en desarrollo, la mayor\u00eda percibe bajos ingresos y no cuenta con la capacitaci\u00f3n y aptitudes digitales b\u00e1sicas para poder explorar el beneficio de internet. Los m\u00f3viles representan la mejor oportunidad para incorporarlos al ecosistema y a la econom\u00eda digital.<\/p>\n<p>Las barreras principales para la adopci\u00f3n de internet m\u00f3vil son la ausencia de contenido local relevante, la falta de aptitudes digitales suficientes, la asequibilidad (disminuida por los altos impuestos) y el despliegue de infraestructura (perjudicado por las barreras municipales al despliegue).
