Jose Perdomo is the Chief Strategy Officer at Deutsche Telekom AG since January 2024, directly reporting to the Group CEO. In this role, he defines and further develops DT\u2019s \u201eLeading Digital Telco\u201c strategy, jointly with the Board of Management and drives the company agenda, the transformation priorities and key strategic projects, including partnering and investment activities across DT Group and within our ecosystem. In addition, Jose leads the innovation strategy for the near and beyond core new business areas in B2C, B2B as well as in telco platforms, exploring opportunities along the value chain, monetizing the telco assets and its customer base, including collaboration models with other operators, in fields such as advertising, common API platforms etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to this, Jose was CEO for DTs subsidiaries T-Mobile Czech Republic & Slovak Telekom since October 2018, operating a cluster operation across two countries, therefore driving a common operating model, unique in the industry. In his tenure, he transformed the operation into a leading customer centric company with best-in-class CX and employee satisfaction, achieving sustainable financial performance and consistent market overperformance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jose is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience and a profound telco and commercial background. He graduated as an aeronautical engineer in Madrid, Spain and worked in the Boeing Company in the US until year 2000. He returned to Spain and joined McKinsey & Company as a management consultant where he focused in the telco industry across Europe. In 2006, he moved to Telef\u00f3nica Spain and in 2008 was appointed Vice President of the Consumer Division at Telef\u00f3nica O2 in Czech Republic, the test market for FMC in the Telef\u00f3nica Group. Finally, he worked until 2013 in Telefonica Digital, the global unit in charge on new digital services.
