Dr. Norman Sze

Vice Chair Deloitte China, Government & Public Services Leader

Dr. Norman Sze is the Vice Chair of Deloitte China and a member of Deloitte Global Public Policy Executive Council. He also serves as Deloitte China Government & Public Services Industry Leader. Dr. Sze has over 38 years of professional experience in management consulting and accounting. As a pioneer of China’s management consulting industry, he has served various domestic industry leaders. In light of his long-standing expertise and contribution to the industry, he has previously been named as one of the Leading Financial Services Consultants in China by Euromoney. He was conferred the Honorary University Fellowship by the University of Hong Kong.

He is currently an advisor of Beijing Huairou District Government, Consultant for the Standing Committee of Chaoyang District People’s Congress of Beijing Municipality, an honorary consultant member of Jinan Mayor‘s International Economic Consultation Commission, a panel expert on investment promotion for the Ministry of Commerce, Vice President of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services.

Deloitte China Public Policy Research Center, under his leadership, has published a number of cutting-edge reports on China’s super smart cities, development of the Greater Bay Area, business environment, digital parks and international consumption center cities.

Dr. Passakon Prathombutr

Senior Executive Vice President, Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa)

Dr. Passakon Prathombutr is a highly accomplished professional with extensive expertise in the fields of software architecture and computer networking. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri.

During his tenure as the director of NECTEC’s Intelligent Transport System program, Dr. Prathombutr founded both the Thai IPv6 association and the Thai ITS association. He was also a founding member of the Thai Intelligent Traffic Information Center (iTIC) and the CCTV Consortium. These organizations have played a pivotal role in the advancement of intelligent transportation systems in Thailand.

Currently, Dr. Prathombutr serves as the Senior Executive Vice President of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), where he oversees the smart city and Thailand Digital Valley projects. In addition to his leadership role at depa, Dr. Prathombutr is also the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Intelligent Transportation System Research, published by Springer.

Terence serves as the Market Development Director at APAC Technology team in GSMA. The key focus is on 5G, IoT, eSIM. He establishes the APAC IoT partnership programme and the APAC 5G Industry Community that accelerates the 5G and IoT ecosystem development and innovation in the APAC region. The IoT partnership programme accumulates 60+ MNOs, 500+ innovators and ecosystem members in 20+ APAC countries, jointly drive the digital transformation in various sector including manufacturing, transportation, logistics & port, healthcare, smarty city, agriculture and environment protection etc.

Worked for IT/Telco industry for over twenty years, Terence has strong and broad experiences in telecom industries on infrastructure, product development and management, consultancy, sales and marketing. He has worked for multinational companies such as Fujitsu, Nokia, and served as the architect, consultant, product lead and pre-sales head of BSS/OSS in the Asia region.

Terence has Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic Engineering) in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Master of Business Administration (Information Technology Management) in Hong Kong Polytechnics University, previously certified as Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute).

Teguh Prasetya

Chairman, Indonesian Internet of Things Association (ASIOTI)

Teguh Prasetya has been in the telecommunications industry for over 32 years. He plays an active role in developing the ICT ecosystem in Indonesia with his initiative to establish the Indonesia Cloud and the Indonesia IoT Forum, which became the forerunner of the Indonesian Internet of Things Association (ASIOTI). Appointed as CEO of PT Alita Praya Mitra in 2019, Teguh is also active in the community as Chairman of ASIOTI, Chairperson of the Indonesia Managed Service Provider Association (Apjastel), and Head of Section of the Industry 4.0 at Indonesia ICT Society (Mastel).

Malini Ramalingam

Head of Digital Demand, MCMC

With over 20+years of demonstrated experience in data & digital transformation, Malini is the Head of Digital Demand Creation at the Malaysian Communication & Multimedia Commission.

She oversees a diverse portfolio of innovative work ranging from conceptualisation of strategies to development and execution of initiatives and positioning them with strong advocacy/marketing strategies . She is also responsible for the execution of various 5G initiatives within key economic such as O&G, Smart City, Healthcare, Transport and Manufacturing.

She graduated with a 1st Class Hon in Business Statistics from University Putra Malaysia.

Ir Dr KF Tsang

Vice President of Smart City consortium and Chairman of IoT Committee

Dr. Tsang specializes in IoT and related AI and smart applications. He was awarded the Internet of Things Heros Award by GS1 IoT Council in 2016. He serves the community in numerous capacities. KF is the VP, Chairman of IoT Committee and the Editor of SmartVision, Smart City Consortium. He is also the President of Greater Bay Area 5G Industry Alliance, Honorary Advisor Committee; Honorary President of the Connected Cities Alliance; Past Chairman of HKIE Electronics Division, Council member of HKIE; Ad Hoc Technical Committee, Smart Lamppost, OGCIO; committee member SSAC, OFCA. KF is also a faculty member in City University of Hong Kong.

Hairol’azaha Bin Abdul Samad

GM for Smart Services, TM One

Hairol is the GM for Smart Services at TM One, a unit that specializes in product development of Smart Services solutions. He shares deep passion in Design Thinking, Customer Service and developing business-impact solutions that focuses on B2B and B2B2C.

Hairol’s credentials:

  • 12 years of experience in network development, strategic planning, businnss transformation, merging & acquisition, enterprise solutions, sales and emerging product design.
  • Broad experience in design thinking: a course where he has helped to refine its model to suit the business requirement better and trained more than 300 TM employees. Turned around an RM87mil degrowth business portfolio to achieve a double-digit growth rate, within 2 years.
  • Contributed his expertise in Business Development by driving business opportunities worth RM154mil for an ICT company based in Jakarta, within a year.
  • Designed new emerging solutions for consumers, successfully acquiring 36,000 new SaaS customer within 8 months.
