ASEAN is the fastest growing internet market in the world. ASEAN digital economy expected to add over $1 trillion to regional GDP in next 10 years. Countries and MNOs in Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia have begun their 5G Journey. ASEAN has made bold steps towards a Digital ASEAN with the ASEAN Digital Masterplan. 5G promises to unlock an unprecedented wealth of potential use cases and incremental value in ASEAN, however decisive policy and regulatory decisions will be necessary to motivate industries using new technologies, solve spectrum, cross border business and cybersecurity concerns.

Manufacturing is one of the key industry contributing huge economy benefits. 3.4 times grows in Smart manufacturing IoT connection, reaching 1.5 billion globally by 2025 – the fastest growth rate of all the enterprise IoT verticals. The pandemic has exacerbated existing challenges and pain points for manufacturers, highlighting the need to for automation, robots, remote control, improve supply-chain resilience and boost production speed and flexibility.

APAC 5G Industry community is a new ecosystem established for stakeholders including government & agencies, industry associations, mobile network providers, enterprises & industry players, solution providers, analyst & consultants who are seeking opportunities to deliver Industry 4.0 and digital transformation from 5G networks, edge-cloud services and enterprise IoT, AI application. The community creates 3 Industry Interest group including Manufacturing, Healthcare and Logistics, port and transportation that open for industry participation.

His current job is to carry out technical policy formulation, coordination, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting in the field of optimizing the use of industrial and industrial technology 4.0 as well as preparing industrial service policy recommendations. Alfian Manullang

Alfian Manullang Currently Hold 3 Senior Leader Position in Telkomsel IoT Organization.  He is now Vice President Internet of Things Telkomsel, also as acting GM. Industrial IoT and Acting General Manager IoT Smart Connectivity of Telkomsel, Telkomsel is part of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk  (Telkom Group) and Singapore Telecom, Ltd (SingTel Group).

Alfian has developed several connected products and services such as Connected Car Solution (T-Drive), Vehicle Fleet Management, and the first connected Motorbike solution (T-Bike) in the region, Fleet Management called Fleet Sight.  He is responsible for Business Ideation, Concept to Product Development and Delivering Revenue & Profitable Growth.

Currently Focusing Industrial Sector in Manufacturing, Mining and Agriculture to transform shop floor, production with the advanced IR.4 such MES (Manufacturing Execution System), advance OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to transform shop floor, production area to increase productivity, maintain quality and with high efficiency using the latest technology such as AI, ML, MEC and 5G technologies.

He has actively involved in TINC (Telkomsel Innovation Center) initiatives to infused external innovation through collaboration with start-up with focusing on IoT and Digital Product, in the same time launch the first Indonesia commercial LWPAN with NB-IoT in July 2018 commercial offering and has launched the first electric smart meter in South East Asia using NB-IoT with PLN DISJAYA.

Alfian have a broad and deep knowledge in IoT Ecosystem from Connectivity Management Platform, Device Management Platform, Application Enablement Platform, Application & System Development, and IoT Mobile Apps Development and Analytics.  He has also a broad experience in national and international IoT Conferences and Workshops.

 

 

 

Fadli Hamsani

Fadli Hamsani, General Manager, Industrial Internet of Things, PT. Cellular Telecommunications (Telkomsel)

Hello! I am Fadli Hamsani, General Manager of Industrial Internet of Things PT. Cellular Telecommunications (Telkomsel). For more than 15 years I have been active in developing productivity and efficiency improvement programs in the manufacturing industry. At the previous company, since 2015 I was assigned as an engineering manager who implemented an automation system or the application of industry 3.0 in factory operations in Batam. At that time, the company benefited almost 39% from the increase in existing productivity. In 2018 I was given the responsibility to continue the journey of industrial transformation towards digital transformation, and in that year, I established a new department, namely the Digital Transformation department which is tasked with being the leader for mass digitalization changes, starting from the company, change management in the company, vertical side of integration and horizontal integration end to end in the supply chain in the company. In 2018 the company received recognition as the first national light house in Indonesia and in 2019 it received recognition as Advance manufacturing Industry 4.0 from the World Economic Forum (WEF).

In 2019, I began to be actively involved with the activities of the Making Indonesia 4.0 program together with the ministry of industry. Starting from being involved in the INDI 4.0 evaluation program, developing the industry 4.0 curriculum, transformation manager training programs and mentoring small and medium industries or large industries in transforming to industry 4.0. Until now, I am still actively supporting the industry 4.0 transformation acceleration program and being one of the team of experts at the Indonesian Digital Industry Center (PIDI4.0) with the Ministry of Industry.

Since 2021, last August, I joined Telkomsel as General Manager of Industrial Internet of Things. At this time, I have a responsibility to help Industry in Indonesia transform digitally Together with the industry 4.0 ecosystem that we built on Telkomsel IoT.

Eric Ananda

Indonesia Country Manager, Zebra Technologies Asia Pacific

Eric Ananda is the Country Manager for Indonesia in Zebra Technologies Asia Pacific. He is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and driving high-growth for Zebra’s business in Indonesia.

With 15 years of experience in the IT industry, Eric has previously held various leading positions at top IT brands like SAP, VMware, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Indonesian SI company PT Astra Graphia Information Technology.

At SAP, Eric oversaw the enterprise accounts in the CPG, Distribution and Retail verticals, and was driving the Cloud & Managed Services business at VMware. At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Eric started off as the Marketing Head for Singapore and Emerging Markets before becoming the Regional Service Providers Sales Leader for Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Eric has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Purdue University in the US and earned his MBA and Master of Commerce from Curtin University in Australia.

Terence Wong

Terence serves as the Market Development Director at APAC Technology team in GSMA. The key focus is on 5G, IoT, eSIM. He establishes the APAC IoT partnership programme and the APAC 5G Industry Community that accelerates the 5G and IoT ecosystem development and innovation in the APAC region. The IoT partnership programme accumulates 60+ MNOs, 500+ innovators and ecosystem members in 20+ APAC countries, jointly drive the digital transformation in various sector including manufacturing, transportation, logistics & port, healthcare, smarty city, agriculture and environment protection etc.

Worked for IT/Telco industry for over twenty years, Terence has strong and broad experiences in telecom industries on infrastructure, product development and management, consultancy, sales and marketing. He has worked for multinational companies such as Fujitsu, Nokia, and served as the architect, consultant, product lead and pre-sales head of BSS/OSS in the Asia region.

Terence has Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic Engineering) in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Master of Business Administration (Information Technology Management) in Hong Kong Polytechnics University, previously certified as Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute).
