Collaborate with enterprise customers to drive digitization value to their operations by leverage Schneider Electric innovation and technology. Driving channel transformation and established online business. Manage to grow 10x digital business over the period and drive business growth and market share gained in 2020. Schneider Electric was recognized as Product Innovation Awards 2020 by Business+ magazine and Best Companies to work for in ASIA 2019 by HR Asia.

4 years prior to that he worked with Microsoft (Thailand), he was Enterprise Director and One Commercial Partner/Small Medium Corporate Director.

24 years with IBM Thailand with several leadership roles. His last position was Country Manager, Global Technology Services (GTS) of IBM Thailand where he led strategic outsourcing services, infrastructure services and maintenance services.

Khun Tanapong holds a Master of Business Administration from Thammasart University and 2nd honour Ranked bachelor’s degree of Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. In addition, he had completed Director Certification Program (DCP 137/2010) from Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) in 2010.

Dr Francois Chin

Programme Director for 5G & Beyond, Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science Technology and Researcn (A*Star)

Francois serves as the 5G+ Programme Director and Head of Satellite Aviation & Maritime (SAM) Division in the Institute for Infocomm Research, under Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). He has been an active contributor to various wireless standardisation activities/efforts, including 3GPP LTE, IEEE 802.15.4b Sub-GHz PHY for Low-Rate Low-power Wireless Personal Area Networks, and IEEE 802.11ad / 11aj mmWave based WiFi standards, with over 70 technical contributions. He is also a co-recipient of various local and international engineering and standardization awards, 15+ granted patents, and an IEEE Best Conference Paper Award.

Dr. Tomasz Gerszberg

CTO, Axiata Enterprise, Axiata

Tomasz is currently the CTO of Axiata. He is a highly accomplished and results-driven ICT executive with powerful blend of technology vision and business acumen results in consistent development of new technology and innovation strategies for business growth. Track record of rationalising and centralising infrastructure, leading to multi-million-dollar savings for the organisation. Proven ability to liaise with global vendors and business partners to maximise productivity and enhance efficiency for business transformation. Supakorn Siddhichai

Executive Vice President, Smart City Promotion, depa

Supakorn graduated from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department, Imperial College, London. In 2001, he joined NECTEC as a research scientist and led various projects involving computer vision, intelligent transportation systems, rural education promotion, and smart city. Since 2015, he has served the Royal Thai Government’s smart city initiative and led the implementation of smart city in Phuket. He joined Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) in 2017 as Vice President of the Smart City Promotion department, in charge of driving smart cities around Thailand. Since April 2019, he has served as Executive Vice President in charge of smart city promotion, IoT and digital innovation, and digital platform promotion.

Tian Chen (TC) Lau

Vice President, Head of Innovation Asia Pacific, DHL CSI

Tian Chen is a veteran of the logistics industry with experience in solution and business development across different industries.

Over the span of his career, Tian Chen has worked in both country and regional roles covering different industries including Manufacturing, FMCG, Enterprise Systems and Supply Chain.

Tian Chen currently heads the DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Center, one of the 4 global centers spearheading the future of logistics and driving customer-centric innovation.

Julian Gorman

Julian, Head of Asia Pacific at GSMA, drives collaborative efforts between the mobile industry, policymakers, and ecosystems to advance digital economies. With 20+ years of global experience in Wholesale, Business, Regulatory, Policy, and Digital Transformation, he’s a pioneer in forging digital partnerships and units. His fervor lies in mobile tech as the cornerstone of economic resilience, sparking dialogues for sustainable, inclusive digital nations.

Kevin Henry

Head of Strategic Engagement, APAC, GSMA

Kevin has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector working with various mobile operators regionally in APAC. He has held multiple senior positions with the last being the Chief Operations Officer of Tune Talk. He has worked with large mobile operators like Maxis, Celcom, Indosat Ooredoo (Indonesia), Robi (Bangladesh) as well as smaller startups like UMobile, P1, Seatel (Cambodia) and Tune Talk. He was crucial in the end to end service launch of 4G and content services for the large mobile operators stated above. He has both commercial and technical experience in the various roles he has held during his tenure.

Kevin has a BSc Physics Degree (Honors) from the National University of Malaysia.

Charles Chew

Policy Director, APAC, GSMA

Charles Chew is the Policy Director, APAC at the GSMA and is based in Singapore.

Prior to joining the GSMA, Charles was Director (International) at the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA), the national regulator for the Infocomm and Media sectors, where he was involved in Telecommunications, ICT, Internet and Digital Economy issues. He was also the lead negotiator for Telecommunications and E-Commerce issues in Singapore’s Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and represented Singapore at regional and international organisations and groupings, including ASEAN, APEC, Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT), G20, OCED and the ITU.

Charles graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours from the National University of Singapore.

Joseph Waring

Asia editor, Mobile World Live, GSMA

Joseph has covered the Asian market for Mobile World Live since August 2014. Before joining the GSMA, Joseph was group editor for Telecom Asia for more than ten years. In addition to writing features, news and blogs, he drove the overall editorial strategy for the flagship print publication as well as regular print/online supplements and newsletters. He successfully guided the publication through a shift in business model, as the majority of Telecom Asia’s advertising revenue became generated from online services rather than print. He also worked for more than two decades in Asia as an editor for business publications and websites, with experience at a web startup in 2000, R&D Magazine, Global Sources and the Bangkok Post.

Terence serves as the Market Development Director at APAC Technology team in GSMA. The key focus is on 5G, IoT, eSIM. He establishes the APAC IoT partnership programme and the APAC 5G Industry Community that accelerates the 5G and IoT ecosystem development and innovation in the APAC region. The IoT partnership programme accumulates 60+ MNOs, 500+ innovators and ecosystem members in 20+ APAC countries, jointly drive the digital transformation in various sector including manufacturing, transportation, logistics & port, healthcare, smarty city, agriculture and environment protection etc.

Worked for IT/Telco industry for over twenty years, Terence has strong and broad experiences in telecom industries on infrastructure, product development and management, consultancy, sales and marketing. He has worked for multinational companies such as Fujitsu, Nokia, and served as the architect, consultant, product lead and pre-sales head of BSS/OSS in the Asia region.

Terence has Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic Engineering) in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Master of Business Administration (Information Technology Management) in Hong Kong Polytechnics University, previously certified as Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute).

Boon Choon Lim

An experienced engineering professional with over twenty years’ experience managing industrial business and metrology solutions, Lim Boon Choon has worked across multiple renowned organizations and leadership roles.

Beginning his career as an application engineer, Boon Choon was instrumental in leading and growing businesses to double digit profits in the Asia Pacific region. His experience covers a range of markets from Oil & Gas, Energy & Power, Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics to Medical industries.

Currently working as President Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Korea, ASEAN, Pacific, India, Boon Choon holds an MBA from Strathclyde University, one of UK’s top business school and a M.Eng degree from National University of Singapore (NUS).

Konesh Kochhal

Director, Industry Ecosystem Engagements, Huawei APAC

Konesh brings over 22 years of ICT Industry experience. Having worked in more than 30 countries in Asia, Australia, Europe and Africa, he has been successful in building and leading large data networks and business portfolios. Proven expertise in conceptualizing and integrating commercial models and technology platforms to deliver desired customer experience. In-depth experience in Digital economy and NICT frameworks, policy ecosystems, Program Management, Technical Strategies, Commercial Model Development & Governance, Planning and Rollouts of MBB Networks and Spectrum Management.

Prior to joining Huawei, his key roles included leading the Data Business for Airtel Africa and MBB Networks for Airtel India.

Ong Tun Kim

General Manager, IBM Manufacturing Solutions Pte Ltd

Tun Kim is the General Manager, IBM Manufacturing Solutions.

Appointed to this role in Jan 2022, Tun Kim leads the IBM Supply Chain Control Tower based in Singapore that consistently delivers operational excellence and continuously explores applied technologies to transform the Supply Chain manufacturing operations globally. She leads the organisation develop and execute strategies, innovates, collaborates with communities, and nurtures a culture of growth and inclusion.

Tun Kim joined IBM in 1989. Prior to this role, she was the Global Supply Assurance Manager, responsible on supply enablement to deliver on client needs across extended supply chain.

She also served as Asean Procurement Manager, Global Sourcing Hubs Manager and Asia Pacific Client Operations Manager. Tun Kim is known for her professionalism and leadership in Supply Chain, Procurement, Transformation, Strategy and People Management.

Tun Kim serves in the IBM Faculty Academy focused on leadership development; Singapore 5G and Telecoms Academy; Education and Research Practitioner Board in VCARE Academy.

In recognition of her leadership, Tun Kim was awarded the Mentor/Coach of the Year in the 16th Stevie Awards for Women in Business presented in New York. In 2021, she was honored with the prestigious SkillsFuture Fellowship, given by the President of Singapore.

 

Dr Ong Chen Hui

Assistant Chief Executive of Business and Technology Group, Infocomm and Media Development Authority (IMDA)

Dr Ong Chen Hui is the Assistant Chief Executive of Business and Technology Group at the Infocomm and Media Development Authority (IMDA), where she oversees the agency’s efforts in developing the industry and research ecosystem around emerging technologies such as AI, AI Governance, 5G, 6G Research, and Trust Technologies. She is also a member of the OT Cybersecurity Experts Panel of Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore (CSA), the chair of Singapore Women-in-Tech and one of the honorees of Singapore 100 Women in Tech 2021. She also serves in the Executive Committee of Association of Infocomm Security Professionals.

Chen Hui has spent more than 20 years in R&D and technology innovation. Prior to IMDA, she was the APJ CTO in Trustwave – a Singtel company and Principal Member of Technical Staff in DSO National Laboratories.

Wey Lii Lee

Senior General Manager, Keppel Digi Ltd

Wey Lii, a collaborative digital transformation leader with 20+ years’ experience in providing digital and engineering solutions to global customers in the energy industry. He is skilled at translating business requirements into innovative and scalable solutions for customers.

Wey Lii began his career as a Management Trainee with Keppel FELS and rose to the rank of Assistant General Manager, Operations, leading more than 100 engineers in the system & commissioning departments. Together with his highly talented and competent engineers, they had successfully completed more than 40 marine and offshore EPC projects with varying complexities.

In 2017, Wey Lii was appointed General Manager, Digital Transformation at Keppel Offshore and Marine (KOM). He led the transformation by heightening technology adoption throughout KOM’s global network of companies and reconstruct internal processes with digital capabilities. Under his leadership, KOM Digital Living Lab was set up to accelerate proof of concept to scale adoption of digital solutions.

To amplify KOM’s digital expansion efforts, Wey Lii was appointed General Manager, Digitalisation and New Businesses in 2021 to spearhead the integration of Digital, IT and OT at KOM. Concurrently, he drove new business growth by developing innovative O&M digital services and sustainability solutions to drive decarbonization.

In mid of 2022, Wey Lii took on the role of Senior General Manager at Keppel Digi, a corporate start- up. In line with Keppel’s vision 2030, Keppel Digi espouses to enable employees and customers to ce technology and accelerate the pace of digital technology adoption to create value
for Keppel‘s customers.

Willis Sim

Chief Corporate Sales & Solutions Officer, M1

Mr Sim joined M1 in October 2009 and is in charge of Corporate Sales and Solutions.

Prior to joining M1, he was one of the Managing Directors and owners of QALA Singapore Pte Ltd and the QMax group of companies. While leading the group operations at QALA and QMax, he was responsible for the first commercial WIMAX service in Singapore, as well as the island wide deployment of WiFi coverage in Singapore under the Wireless@SG initiative by the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore1 (IDA).

With over 15 years of industry and operational experience in data and telecommunication products and services, Mr Sim has played major roles in various national telecommunication projects initiated by government agencies such as the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore, Ministry of Education, IDA1, Government Technology Agency (GovTech) and Land Transport Authority.

Mr Sim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.

 

Dr. Keren Priyadarshini

Regional Business Lead, Worldwide Health, Microsoft

Keren is the Regional Leader for Healthcare in Asia Pacific. In this role, Keren drives Microsoft’s initiative in Healthcare, leading and defining the solution offerings and strategy for meeting the needs of Healthcare and Life Science customers. This includes defining and articulating the Microsoft vision for the future of Healthcare, and how Microsoft technologies and partner solutions are making it a reality.

Muhundhan Kamarapullai

CPM Asia Pacific Chief Innovation Officer, MRANTI Corporation

Muhundhan comes with over 20 years of experience in key leadership roles that spans the domains of digital transformation, entrepreneurship, education, healthcare, technology management and organisational capability development. He is a trained Project Management Professional, Information Security Lead Auditor (ISO27001) and Certified Professional Marketer (Asia Pacific).

At present he is the Chief Innovation Officer at MRANTI (Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation), a government agency mandated to accelerate national R&D commercialisation. He leads a team providing technology business services such as software engineering, human centered design, data analytics and systems and network including 5G, as part of a suite of innovative solutions for MRANTI and its park’s digital evolution.

In his previous capacities within the industry and a government agency, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Muhundhan was involved in leading business digital adoption initiatives, spearheading growth of the Malaysian digital economy landscape as well as helping enterprises embrace digital transformation and innovation. His preceding tasks include consulting and advisory roles to the Malaysian government in national policy development for National 4IR policy, MyDigital blueprint, Malaysia Plan and Industry4WD.

Dr Gao Yujia

Vice Chairman, Holomedicine Association

Dr Gao Yujia is the Assistant Group Chief Technology Officer of the National University Health System, Dr Gao spearheads various projects including the development of Holomedicine, Mixed Reality devices, and applications for medical education and clinical medicine.

He is also the Vice Chairman, and Director of Science, Medicine and Technology of the Holomedicine Association, which is an international association aimed at bringing together expertise from around the world to advance the science of Mixed Reality and its application in clinical medicine.

He is also a Consultant at the Adult Liver Transplantation Programme, National University Centre for Organ Transplantation, and Division of Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery, Department of Surgery at National University Hospital.
Apart from his clinical work, Dr Gao is deeply involved in undergraduate medical education at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, serving as the Deputy Director, Undergraduate Medical Education and is responsible for the planning and execution of the surgical posting for final year medical students.

Dr Ngiam Kee Yuan

Group CTO, National University Health System (NUHS) Singapore

MBBS (London), MRCS (Glasgow), Mmed (Surgery), FRCS (Edinburgh)

Associate Professor Ngiam Kee Yuan is the Group Chief Technology Officer of the National University Health System (NUHS) Singapore overseeing technology deployment in Western Healthcare Cluster of Singapore. In this role, he implements new technologies throughout NUHS and serves as the Chief Advisor to the Center for Innovation in Healthcare in NUHS. Dr Ngiam is concurrently the Deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer at the National University Hospital of Singapore with a special focus on artificial intelligence research and implementation in healthcare. He has certification training by the American Medical Informatics Association and has published in computing and medical journals on topics related to healthcare AI applications and technology.

Dr Ngiam is Head and Senior Consultant at the Division of Thyroid and Endocrine Surgery, Department of Surgery, National University Hospital, Singapore. He specializes in thyroid oncology and minimally invasive endoscopic and robotic thyroid surgery. Dr Ngiam obtained his undergraduate degree from the Royal Free and University College Medical School, London (now University College London). He entered Advanced Surgical Training in General Surgery and was awarded a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh upon completion of his training. He is accredited a general surgery specialist by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Singapore and received the Higher Manpower Development Award to complete a fellowship in Metabolic Surgery in Taiwan. He received further training in robotic thyroid surgery at the Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea.

In his capacity as Associate Professor, Department of Surgery, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Dr Ngiam engages in research into endocrine and metabolic surgery as well as artificial intelligence applications in healthcare. He promotes interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the NUS campus, particularly between the schools of medicine, engineering and computer science for various healthcare applications. He was awarded the ExxonMobil-NUS Research Fellowship for Clinicians and numerous teaching awards for his work in research and education.

Dr Ngiam is also active in volunteerism and is the Mission Chief for a number of ground up surgical missions to regional countries such as Myanmar and Indonesia; under the auspices of the Surgical Outreach to Underserved Localities (SOUL) program with the NUH Department of Surgery.

Ehsanul Islam

VP & Regional Head, Qualcomm SEA

Mr. Ehsanul Islam is a vice president engineering at Qualcomm and responsible for Taiwan & SEA customer engineering teams including hardware, software and technical account management. He is also the regional head of Qualcomm SEA and oversees all the sales, business development and marketing activities for whole SEA region.

Prior to joining Qualcomm in 2013, Ehsanul Islam worked in executive level positions for PacketVideo (a sister company of NTT DoCoMo) and Vodafone Japan with a strong history in program management, defining and managing product roadmaps for multimedia software and mobile platform for high end smartphones. Since 2009, Ehsanul served as a managing director of PacketVideo India with responsibility for building up the high-quality engineering team for new multimedia software development including product definition and rollouts as well as strategic customer engagement and alignment.

Ehsanul has also held application engineering positions at Motorola/Freescale semiconductor, and Agilent Technologies, focused largely on wireless communications. He holds a bachelor & master`s in electronics engineering from the Tokyo University of Electro-communications and
MBA in international business from the Tsukuba University, Japan.

Dennis Wong

Prior to Singtel, Dennis was the Managing Director of Networks and Chief Technology Officer for Optus, a fully Singtel-owned subsidiary in Australia. Under his leadership, Dennis led numerous pivotal projects and launched several world-first initiatives in 4G and 5G technologies, bringing about Optus as one of the top quartile performers in the industry. Dennis received a double MBA from Management of Technology from Waseda University (Japan) and Nanyang Business School (NBS-NTU). He also holds a B.Eng (EEE) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Prior joining the VIMUT Hospital, he has the experience in healthcare IT management with more than 10 private hospitals in Thailand. He has a strong knowledge in healthcare IT, enterprise architecture, project management, application development and has successfully led major IT initiatives in several projects for hospitals.

Wing spent over 17 years in the U.S. in leadership positions and built many firsts: nationwide fiber optics network, nationwide wireless data network and large-scale 4G network.

Awarded “Asian American Engineer of the Year” in the 2002 U.S. National Engineers Week, Wing holds 33 U.S. Patents, along with Singapore and Korea patents.

He attended the University of Texas at Austin and MIT.
