2014 State of the Industry Report for Mobile Financial Services

March 2015: As of December 2014, there were 255 live mobile money services in 89 markets. Registered mobile money accounts globally grew to 299 million in 2014, with seven new markets joining the ranks of countries where there are more mobile money accounts than bank accounts, bringing the total to 16 markets.
