This year at Mobile 360 Asia Pacific 2021 on 19-21 October, we highlight the mobile industry’s vital role in providing access to critical information, delivering digital inclusion, connecting the unconnected, and supporting economic growth.

To do so, GSMA Asia Pacific rolls out a “Digital Nation Building” Video Competition for Mobile Network Operators. By Digital Nation Building, we mean they advance the perception of and contribution of mobile technology in the advancement of a digital nation.

All shortlisted videos are showcasing on the Mobile 360 APAC online event platform throughout the event from 5 – 21 October. Starting on 22 October, all shortlisted videos in this competition are available for on-demand viewing on the event platform. Get you free access by registering here.

There are 3 awards in this competition and the results were announced at 11:40am on 21 October, Day 3 of the Mobile 360 Asia Pacific 2021:

  1. Best Digital Nation Building Video award – the winner will be chosen by a panel of independent judges.
  2. Industry Choice: Most Favourite Digital Nation Building Video award – all Mobile 360 APAC event participants can submit their votes for their most favourite video. The video that receives the most number of votes will get this award
  3. Lucky Voter Winner – we will randomly draw a winner from the pool of people who have voted for the video that receives the “Industry Choice: Most Favourite Digital Nation Building Video” award. An electronic gift certificate of SGD 400 will be sent to this winner in email.

Nathalie Huni

EVP, Head of Design, Digitas North America

Nathalie Huni is EVP, Head of Design for Digitas North America. Nathalie has been specializing in building bridges between design, product, experience, brand, and stories for over 20 years in Manila, Paris, London, and New York. She works with clients all the way from the strategy phase through to design, art direction and final production of a project, and is passionate about crafting beautiful work that connects people emotionally. She has worked with brands including Revlon, Nokia, L’Oréal, Nina Ricci, and OPI, earning recognition from Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, the One Show Interactive, Clio Awards, Art Director’s Club, and the London International awards, among others, and has served on the Cannes Lions jury.

As an advocate for diversity in the creative department, Nathalie is an active member and contributor to the 3% Movement. In 2021 Nathalie conducted a rebrand of the 3% Movement’s “TweetUp” event and spoke on a post-event panel. Nathalie is a champion of creating campaigns that uplift girls and women of all ages, and she is an advocate for the women on her team. For Digitas client Edgewell, Nathalie launched a “Sisterhood” approach that celebrates, supports, and puts women in charge. She makes it a point to hire underrepresented female directors, editors, composers and animators and work with an all-female agency team.

In 2019, Nathalie was recognized as one of She Runs It’s Working Mothers of the Year in the Established Mother category.

Nathalie speaks French, English and Tagalog, and lives in Brooklyn with her husband, their 4 kids, and a lazy English bulldog named Maurice.

 

 

Grégoire Assémat-Tessandier

President, Elephant

As President of Elephant, Grégoire partners with his clients and inspires his team to bring a vision of creativity as a transformative driver that delivers business growth.

Under his leadership, the elephants launched Goldman Sachs’ first digital retail bank, Marcus; designed Peacock, NBCU’s new streaming service; transformed Xfinity’s retail stores in immersive playground and created the global B2B creative platform for the first company to record a $1 trillion market capitalization. Yes, that one.

Grégoire is a key driver of Elephant’s DEI strategy “Commit to change”, pushing
diversity across all recruitment efforts, promoting female employees to leadership positions and engaging in pro-bono partnership with a nonprofit organization.

Previously, Grégoire led marketing teams client side as the Global Head of Digital at Bacardi Global Brands, launched and scaled the creative agency DAN Paris at TBWA\ in France and managed the Digital Practice at Edelman Europe.

In his career, Grégoire worked across many sectors (Technology, Financial Services, Lifestyle, FMCG, Healthcare), for global groups such as Unilever, L’Oréal, LVMH, Diageo and global brands like Apple, Goldman Sachs, Adidas, PlayStation and Hermès.

He won numerous leading industry awards, including Cannes Lions, Clios, Effies, One Show, Art Director’s Club and DA&D.

Grégoire is an active member of Surfrider Foundation and currently lives in Brooklyn.

Dr. S. Ismail Shah

Area Representative for Southeast Asia and Head of ITU office for Southeast Asia and Timor-Leste, ITU

Dr. S. Ismail Shah is the ITU Area Representative for Southeast Asia and Head of ITU office for Southeast Asia and Timor-Leste. He is a renowned ICT professionals with an extensive background in technology implementation, ICT policy-making and regulations. He has also worked on many initiatives for Persons with Disabilities, Women Empowerment, Big data analytics, Internet of Things, spectrum management, cellular technologies, Shared Economy and Digital Entrepreneurship. He believes in multi-stakeholder approach in policy making and has among other areas certifications in NGN, Cloud Computing and Internet Governance.

Before joining ITU, Dr. Shah served as the Chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) from September 2013 to November 2017 and has led some of the most high profile undertakings in the Telecommunication Sector of Pakistan. He also served as the Vice-President of the General Assembly of the Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT) from 2014 to 2018 and over the years, has been a keynote speaker and a sought-after panelist on major global events.

Dr. Shah holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, USA. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, USA and Member of the Institute of Electronics Information and Communication Engineers, Japan and has more than 100 technical publications.
