GSMA Foundry Networking Breakfast at MWC Las Vegas 2022 – Wrap Up

The GSMA Foundry team hosted a relaxed networking breakfast at MWC Las Vegas 2022. This was a great opportunity for attendees to catch up with existing connections, as well as make new contacts and acquaintances.

While the focus was mainly on the food and conversation, the GSMA provided a couple of updates. First, Richard Cockle, Global Head of IoT, Identity and Big Data, GSMA, welcomed everyone to the breakfast event and gave an update on the success to-date of the GSMA Foundry.

The Foundry is all about GSMA members and industry players working together on real-world solutions to industry challenges. Together we plan to nurture new ideas through initial commercial trials or scale proven solutions at a regional and global level. The time scale for a Foundry project is fast, ideally under 12 months.

We are currently looking for exciting new collaborative projects that will benefit from collective expertise. We welcome new ideas as well as projects already in motion. Contact us at [email protected] or submit your project proposal here.

The second update of the morning was provided by Barney Stinton, Head of Membership, GSMA explaining how the GSMA is a global member-led organisation representing the mobile industry and how we work with our members on priority industry topics such as 5G, IoT, Roaming, AI, Security and SIM Technology. Find out more about GSMA Membership.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Las Vegas, and we hope to see you again next year (September 26-28, 2023)!
