At the beginning of the year, The GSMA’s Future Networks programme worked with industrial vendors to initiate a 5G Network Slicing Taskforce. The main goal of this taskforce is to collect service and technical requirements in 5G from vertical industries.
We appreciate that the 5G Network Slicing concept is not yet well understood, and we therefore published a report to introduce this important concept. We have also prepared a simple survey with the aim to understand your initial thoughts and potential requirements. Our ultimate goal is to identify and prioritise the initial slices that will have the most impact on the market.
