The Future Networks Programme will be hosting the first 5G Lab in Berlin, Germany on Wednesday, 15th January 2020 with our hosts Deutsche Telekom.

The purpose of the 5G Labs is to bring together leading stakeholders in the industry – Developers, Operators and Platform Providers – to establish a set of common APIs that Operators can implement, ensuring a level of commonality required to achieve global, interoperable scale.

We want to hear from Developers about the challenges they face in creating MEC applications at scale, the requirements they would have from operators to do this today, and a wish list of what they want to see going into the 5G Era. The GSMA will facilitate this discussion, with our global member Operators, to ensure a common consensus is reached.

This will be an interactive session, to hear from key voices in the industry about the challenges faced, what requirements they have to develop on a global scale, and what actions the GSMA can take to ensure that developers, platform providers and operators can work together to realise a truly interoperable future.
