Juan Carlos Garcia Lopez is Senior Vice President of Technology and Ecosystem at Telefonica GCTIO unit, leading technical projects like Edge Computing, Private Networks or Network Slicing. He is in charge of Telefonica’s participation in standardization bodies and industry fora like GSMA, O-RAN, TIP, 3GPP, IETF, etc.
Till 2019, he is in charge of Technology and Architecture for Access, Devices, Transport, Core, Platforms and IT.
From 2015 till October 2017, he has the role of Director of Radio Access Technology and leads the Transport Optimization Program for all Fixed-Mobile operations in Latam.

Jason is one of the original cloud pioneers as one of the founders and CTO of Joyent. While there, he launched the world’s first container-as-a-service offering in 2004, the most popular asynchronous runtime (node.js) in 2009, the most secure KVM-based VMs in 2009 and the world’s first serverless offering in 2013.
As head of Ericsson cloud and infrastructure products, Jason acquired an advanced degree in telecom knowledge. Jason is now chairman and CEO of MobiledgeX, a Deutsche Telekom-backed venture, aimed at making developers win at the edge.
Jason has a BS and MS from UCLA and a Ph.D. from UCSD, but what he’s really interested in is the art of the perfect steak. He lives with his wife and children in the wilderness known as the Bay Area.
Director & Practice Lead – Edge Computing, STL Partners
Dalia is a Director & Practice Lead – Edge Computing at STL Partners. She has led major consulting projects with technology companies in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific on 5G and edge computing strategies, use cases and commercial models. She co-authored the research report “5G’s impact on manufacturing: $740Bn of benefits in 2030” and “What edge developers want from telcos now”. Outside of 5G and edge computing, she supports clients in areas such as blockchain, digital transformation and IoT.

Doug Makishima, CSMO of Summit Tech, is a seasoned C-level executive with deep experience in wireless communications, mobile devices, IoT, and AI. He was most recently the COO of Meeami Technologies, a leading provider of IP communications and Voice IoT / AI technologies. Before Meeami, Doug was COO/CSMO at D2 Technologies, a leading software company enabling mobile VoIP & IMS IP communications capabilities for top-tier OEMs, IC vendors and operators. He has held senior management positions at leading companies such as Nortel, AMD, Adaptec, GSMA and several startups. During his engineering career, he developed patented storage IC technology and has actively participated on several IEEE, ANSI and GSMA committees focused on wireless, communications and storage standards. He holds a BSEE from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
