5G in the 3.5GHz band allows for higher capacity than previous generations of mobile networks. To achieve even higher capacity, 5G can also use higher frequencies known as millimetre waves (mmWaves) where much more spectrum is available. mmWaves are not new and have been used for decades in satellite and other communication networks.<\/p>\n
