On September 11, during the 40th GTI summit in Hong Kong, GTI and GSMA Foundry laundhed their first batch of “Challenges” aimed at solving industry problems and fostering innovation through the integration of 5G-A and AI technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative follows the GTI-GSMA 5G-A\u00d7AI cooperation agreement and involves the release of two key challenges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. New Calling x AI Challenge<\/a><\/strong>: Focuses on using AI to innovate IMS Data Channel services and develop impactful use cases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Wireless<\/strong> Network Intelligence<\/strong><\/a>: Seeks solutions for AI-enabled wireless network intelligence testing and evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Applications for these challenges will open in October and November, respectively, with resources available at GTI-GSMA Open Labs. Winners will be awarded and engaged in further collaboration with GTI and GSMA Foundry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This initiative is part of the broader GTI 5G-A\u00d7AI Development Program, which aims to drive integrated innovation across technology, business, and commerce. Over 20 global operators and partners are already involved in this effort to advance the fusion of 5G-A and AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
