The\u00a0GSMA has members in\u00a0almost every\u00a0country\u00a0and territory in the world.\u00a0This\u00a0global reach and perspective\u00a0is\u00a0a\u00a0key attraction for new members.\u00a0That\u2019s\u00a0certainly the case for the latest intake,\u00a0most of whom\u00a0cited the GSMA\u2019s\u00a0worldwide network as\u00a0one of\u00a0their reasons for joining.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apate.ai,<\/a> for example, is fighting a\u00a0wide-ranging\u00a0global battle against scammers and fraudsters that\u00a0operate\u00a0across\u00a0international borders.\u00a0With a focus on\u00a0proactive scam prevention and threat intelligence,\u00a0Australia-based\u00a0Apate.ai partners with telcos, financial institutions, and government agencies to deploy advanced conversational AI agents that engage scammers in real time – diverting their efforts, disrupting campaigns, and capturing actionable intelligence to protect customers and dismantle scam infrastructure.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rounding off our new members this month,\u00a0Datafon<\/a>,\u00a0is also\u00a0in the business of providing trusted\u00a0services to enterprises, including telecoms operators. Founded in 2022 in the UK,\u00a0Datafon\u00a0provides\u00a0data-as-a-service\u00a0offerings,\u00a0such as\u00a0mobile number portability\u00a0and number verification,\u00a0to\u00a0its\u00a0partners within the telecommunications industry.\u00a0\u00a0Datafon\u00a0says its number portability solution instantly provides the original and current network of\u00a0a\u00a0phone number.\u00a0The company also\u00a0enables telecoms operators to enhance their global routing of messages and voice calls via phone number intelligence\u00a0in order to\u00a0reduce costs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
