GSMA Member PAiCore Technology<\/a> and TelecomsXchange have introduced a new A.I.-powered SMS Firewall. Through the strategic integration of OpenTextShield (OTS) with the PAiCore SMSC, the companies are officially launching an advanced solution designed to neutralize spam and phishing in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OpenTextShield is an open source platform by TelecomsXchange that uses multilingual BERT (mBERT) to identify threats across 104+ languages. Designed for private deployment within an operator\u2019s own infrastructure, it ensures that sensitive SMS content remains fully protected and never shared with third parties. Its containerized architecture enhances security while maintaining stability, and its efficient design enables message classification in under a second. Built for high-volume environments, it supports high throughput, low-latency processing and can be easily fine-tuned using private data, all with no per lookup cost, making it a scalable and cost-effective solution for real-time SMS protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PAiCore SMSC is a carrier-grade, open source platform with a high-throughput, feature-rich messaging core that boosts profitability through full protocol interworking. Supporting SMPP, HTTP, SS7\/SIGTRAN, and Diameter, it ensures seamless interoperability across legacy and next-generation networks, enabling operators to maintain full control over their messaging infrastructure while optimizing performance, routing efficiency, and operational flexibility in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This integration embeds intelligent filtering directly into the signalling flow. By offloading complex classification tasks to the A.I.-powered SMS Firewall, the PAiCore SMSC can filter malicious traffic at the edge. This creates a resilient, API-driven architecture validated for continuous operations, delivering seamless message processing without failures or latency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this launch, PAiCore and TelecomsXchange enable operators and service providers to protect messaging traffic in real time from the heart of their core infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
