New Community members, 5G standalone operators and leading software vendors join the GSMA <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June, the GSMA welcomed its first Community members – JUMO and Trackimo.  A new category, GSMA Community Membership<\/a> helps technology providers, service developers and digital innovators get closer to the mobile industry, forge new connections and benefit from exclusive insights.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JUMO<\/a> has joined GSMA Community Membership, giving them access to a broad range of communities across the connectivity ecosystem. With a strong focus on financial services, they are particularly interested in Connected Fintech and Commerce, while also able to tap into the wider insights and connections available through membership. Founded in Cape Town in 2015, the company has developed a technology platform to enable mobile network operators (MNOs) and banks to offer digital credit and savings products to millions of entrepreneurs in Africa. Over the past decade, JUMO has enabled the disbursement of over US$10 billion worth of loans in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, South Africa, Benin and Cameroon. This has resulted in 39 million new customers for mobile banking ecosystems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJUMO joined GSMA because the work of expanding financial access in emerging markets cannot be done in isolation,\u201d explains Carmia Lureman-Norton, Head of Strategic Delivery and Corporate Affairs at JUMO. \u201cFor most of Africa, mobile is the rail on which inclusion runs, and GSMA sits at the centre of that ecosystem. We hope to sharpen our partnerships with operators, contribute to shaping policy that matters, and learn from peers in this network.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helping children connect safely<\/strong> <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Founded in New York in 2013, Trackimo,<\/a> a developer of intelligent tracking and connected living solutions, has joined GSMA Community Membership, giving them access to a broad range of communities across the connectivity ecosystem. With connected devices at the core of its offering, it is particularly interested in IoT, while also benefiting from the wider insights and connections available through membership. By fusing proprietary hardware, advanced software, and seamless M2M (machine-to-machine) communication into transformative, scalable technologies, Trackimo says it provides businesses and families with real-time visibility, security, and control of their assets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Joining GSMA accelerates our vision to transform how children connect with the world safely,” adds Natalie Antoshchuk, Chief Marketing Officer at Trackimo. “We are pushing forward with IoT tracking devices and platforms while launching a groundbreaking kids-first safety communication solution as we speak. By combining breakthrough software, advanced hardware, and global operator partnerships, our mission is clear: empower children while protecting families worldwide.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5G standalone operators join the GSMA <\/strong> <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

New members this month also include two operators of state-of-the-art 5G standalone networks \u2013 Perfectum of Uzbekistan, which was founded in 1995, and Nubicom Paraguay, which was established in 2025.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By employing a cloud-native architecture and 200 MHz of spectrum, Nubicom Paraguay<\/a> aims to expand high-quality broadband nationwide, bridge digital divides, and boost industrial competitiveness through advanced IoT and low-latency digital solutions. “Joining the GSMA marks a pivotal milestone for Nubicom Paraguay as we deploy our 5G standalone network,\u201d says CEO Osmar Coronel. \u201cWe look forward to contributing to the global ecosystem, collaborating with international MNOs, and partnering with top-tier vendors. This membership will ensure we maintain highest-level technological standards and accelerate Paraguay\u2019s transition into a highly competitive digital economy.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perfectum\u2019s<\/a> national 5G standalone network, which was launched in 2025, is also designed to deliver high-speed, reliable, secure internet to people and businesses. The operator is aiming to become the region’s top provider, opening new opportunities for growth and innovation. \u201cWe are absolutely clear that developing a cutting-edge mobile network while collaborating with other telecom operators and HW\/SW vendors from different countries is of paramount importance,\u201d says Dmitry Shukov, CEO \u201cThe GSMA is a trusted platform that helps operators connect with each other and participate in events where they can learn new things about our industry and network with professionals around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving monetisation for mobile operators<\/strong> <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Several leading 5G operators, such as AT&T, Deutsche Telekom, e&, NTT and Verizon, are customers of Beyond Now<\/a>, a Dublin-based provider of AI-enabled ecosystem orchestration and digital platforms.  The company, which is joining the GSMA, says it helps technology and communications service providers launch faster and monetise technology solutions built on AI, data, 5G, fibre, cloud and other technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We joined the GSMA to be part of the conversation defining the future of telecommunications,\u201d explains Angus Ward, CEO of Beyond Now. \u201cAs a company we are deeply immersed in shaping the telecoms industry agenda, enabling communications and technology providers to unlock market opportunities related to platform business models, B2B\/B2B2X growth, BSS, marketplace and ecosystem adoption, and translating agentic AI from a buzz into business value. We look forward to the ongoing collaboration and contribution as a member of the GSMA community.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another new member, ClearSky Technologies<\/a>, is drawing on more than 25 years of telecom experience to help mobile operators, regional wireless carriers, aggregators and OTT providers monetize their network, strengthen security, and accelerate innovation. The Orlando-based company, through it’s iCODE Connect platform, empowers wireless operators, aggregators and OTT (over-the-top) providers to turn A2P SMS\/MMS and RCS For Business messaging into revenue, prevent fraud through Network APIs, optimize network traffic and deploy next-generation, rich communication services. By connecting aggregators with OTT platforms and regional wireless carriers, ClearSky helps simplify interoperability while expanding messaging reach and monetization opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
