GSMA Digital Commerce Seminar: Tokenization for Mobile Payments

Start: Thursday 28 January 2016

End: Thursday 28 January 2016

Location: London, United Kingdom

Panel discussion seminar v2

Join the GSMA for an informal workshop exploring the role of tokenisation within the Changing Payments Landscape.

Tokenisation has been a recent milestone in mobile payment security – delivering greater protection to the customer by creating unique tokens for every device from a single bank account. Tokenisation masks a customer’s card information by replacing it with a token. If a token is captured, it has limited or no value to the perpetrators, greatly reducing risk.

As well as heightening the security of payments, tokenisation also contributes to a much more convenient user experience.

Hear from a panel of expert speakers including MasterCard and Orange who will help you understand the role of tokenisation in enhancing security in mobile payments. The topics will explore the current landscape, how tokenisation is securing digital payments and how the mobile network operators, banks and the wider ecosystem are working together to make mobile payments safer and more secure for everyone.

Please join us post-event for wine and canapés and an opportunity to network with the experts and attendees.
