The GSMA EMF Forum 2020

This year has seen positive developments including publication of the updated international radio frequency exposure guidelines, proposals for harmonised European rules for small cells and expanded 5G deployments. However, misinformation about 5G safety and in particular false claims of links to Covid-19 have brought new challenges. The GSMA EMF Forum 2020 will take a close look at effective EMF risk communication, including responses to misinformation, and provide updates on 5G EMF risk assessments as well as actions from the European Commission and member states.
