The Identity Innovation Labs are a set of three stand-alone industry discussions on the latest developments in digital identity. Featuring a range of experts, these sessions are designed to help the broader ecosystem understand the value of using operator data attributes to verify users for digital services, and how emerging technologies such as RCS and Blockchain/Distributed Ledger will introduce new opportunities and approaches to identity services.


Lab 1: The digital and identity market in China & South East Asia: new opportunities for industry players

The opening lab will provide insight into the unique trends and commercial opportunities of digital identity in China and South East Asia. Senior industry figures will reveal their roadmaps, commercial strategies and how MNOs can add value to digital transactions. This session will conclude with an analysis on the impact of eKYC techniques.

Lab 3: Changing landscape for identity: enhancing Rich Communications Services (RCS) chat and evolution towards decentralised identity

The final lab of the day will explore how Mobile Connect can be combined with RCS chat capabilities to support a range of new use cases, and the potential benefits of utilising Blockchain in future identity frameworks.
