Mobile Connect at the Cyber Security and Fraud Seminar

Start: Tuesday 1 November 2016 8:00 am

End: Tuesday 1 November 2016 5:00 pm

Venue: King’s Place

The GSMA’s Head of Service Access, Technology, David Pollington, will be speaking at the Cyber Security and Fraud Seminar where he will discuss how Mobile Connect can abate fraud and improve cyber security.

With the ever-increasing frequency of data breaches on the web, there is a clear need to strengthen security. The issue though is not one of weaknesses in the IT systems but rather in the processes that are used for authenticating the users of those systems. Mobile Connect provides a framework of identity services orientated around the mobile phone as an implicit factor of authentication and utilising the underlying security of the mobile network to help Service Providers strengthen the security of their systems but without sacrificing user convenience in the process.

David Pollington will be speaking at 16:30-17:00
