End: Monday 21 January 2019 6:00 pm

Venue: GSMA Head Office

Location: The Walbrook Building, 25 Walbrook London, EC4N 8AF United Kingdom

GSMA and FIDO Alliance are pleased to jointly present a “Future of Strong Authentication” seminar in London on January 21, from 13.00-1700 at GSMA’s headquarters, with brief reception to follow.

This seminar is targeted at service providers in mobility, finance and payments who are keen to learn how industry initiatives in user authentication (such as Mobile Connect from GSMA and open specifications from FIDO Alliance) can help them provide a simpler and more secure user experience while also complying with emerging regulatory and industry trends such as PSD2, GDPR and open banking. Expert speakers will come from leading organizations in the mobile communications, payments and government who collectively will provide attendees with a deeper understanding on business benefits, best practices and the underlying technologies that can help them chart a path forward in this evolving market landscape.

FIDO’s open specifications can help all organizations, especially service providers who want to scale these features for consumer services over the web. Today there are over 500 solutions on the market that have been FIDO® Certified and over 3.5 billion end-users’ web and mobile apps have been FIDO-enabled for strong authentication protection by leading service providers, including Google, Facebook, PayPal, Samsung, Bank of America, NTT DOCOMO, and many many more.

There is no charge for the seminar, but advanced registration is required prior to 16 January.
