With 27 bn connected devices forecast by 2025, including 6bn in China, mobile technology is playing an increasingly crucial role in the Internet of Things (IoT) – securely connecting many more devices and machines to their owners, the Internet, and each other.

There will be 3.1bn low power wide area (LPWA) IoT connections worldwide by 2025, with China alone forecast to have over 486m LPWA connections. When combined with big data this will create invaluable business opportunities for mobile operators, governments, cities and companies, spanning industries around the world.

Discover more about the growing IoT opportunity and the many ways in which it will transform everyday life at the GSMA IoT Summit. Expert speakers will discuss key topics including Low Power Wide Area, IoT Security and IoT Big Data.

The IoT Summit is open to all Mobile World Congress Shanghai VIP and Gold Pass holders, All Exhibition Pass holders may purchase a ticket to the Summit for an additional fee.
