Digital Action Day 2014

This event, organised by the European Commission in the context of the Digital Agenda for Europe, will focus on how digital technologies are changing traditional EU industries and policy areas.

Jeanine Vos, Executive Director, Connected Living, GSMA is participating in the panel discussion: Making it in the Digital Single Market. This work session will be organised around the transformation of the services sector and the shift of a large part of our economy into a digital economy. There will be focus on how connecting everyday products and citizens/consumers to the internet is deeply transforming and opening the way to highly disruptive business models, also in traditional sectors. This will included discussions on both challenges to established players and opportunities to transform business landscape in Europe.
