GSMA IoT at WWRF 5G Huddle

Hosted by The Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF) and supported by The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA), the 5th Annual 5G Huddle will take place in South Africa on 29 and 30 May.
Dr Shane Rooney, Executive Director, IoT Networks from GSMA will participate in the panel “The role of 5G in delivering a smarter energy and utilities sector” and explore how Mobile IoT (Licensed LPWA: LTE-M and NB-IoT), being an integral part of 5G, will accelerate the growth and drive in the utilities and energy sectors by maximising the positive impacts, lowering the technology cost, and ensuring the implementation of IoT Security framework.
