John Gole, Research Director, Telecoms & Networking, CEMA, IDC

John Gole is IDC’s lead European analyst on telecom service provider’s strategies in the IoT market. He advises operators on their business plans, service portolios, partnering strategies and opportunity assessment. He is a member of IDC Europe’s Telecoms and IoT research practices.
Mr. Gole previously managed IDC’s research and consulting business in the telecoms sector across Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is a regular speaker at industry events and conferences, he holds an MBA from London Business School and Columbia Business School, and he holds a Master of Arts degree from Georgetown University’s Graduate School of Foreign Service.

Nafissatou Diarra, Orange

I am Nafissatou Diarra. I have a Master’s degree in Computer Security and a PhD in Algebra and Cryptography from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar (Senegal).
I am actually working as a Post-Doc at Orange Labs in Grenoble (France), in the field of Blockchain-DLTs. Specifically, I perform a comparative analysis of some identified Blockchain-DLT platforms. The expected result is a tool for identifying or helping to choose which Blockchain-DLT platforms would be most appropriate for specific use cases, including use cases in IoT domain.
In addition to my current work in Orange, I have interests in topics like Post-quantum Cryptography, Machine Learning and Big Data.

Lyle Paczkowski, Senior Technology Strategist, Sprint

Lyle Paczkowski is a Senior Technology Strategist for Sprint’s Advanced Technology Development division. A twenty five year innovative information technologies veteran, Mr. Paczkowski has 154 Security, Blockchain, Hardware Root of Trust, NFV, IMS, Network, 3G CDMA, 4G LTE, NFC, wireless access, and media application patent awards, and 52 patents pending. He has extensive experience in large-scale wireless infrastructure deployments, contact center solutions, application development and project management, and computerized telephony integration (CTI) technologies. He has been with Sprint for more than 20 years.
 

Stephen Doyle, Principal Technical Architect, GSMA

Stephen Doyle is Principal Technical Architect for GSMA covering topics in the IoT related to Big Data, Machine Learning/ AI and distributed ledgers. A graduate in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick in the UK he has worked for a range of IT and Telecoms companies comprising equipment manufacturers, mobile operators, and application/ service developers. Since 1994 Stephen has worked in the Mobile Industry mainly in the areas of applications and services and is particularly experienced in the definition, development and usage of web/mobile APIs. For GSMA he has been leading system architecture and implementations regarding use of Big Data and Machine Learning related to IoT, also the application of distributed ledgers to the IOT and other areas of mobile networks.
