Enabling Digital Transformation of Industries in the 5G Era

14:00 – 15:00 | Wednesday 30 June | The Studio, Hall 3

Session Details

There is little doubt that that the pandemic has changed the way enterprises operate. While some IoT projects were put on hold or cancelled, the pandemic has also highlighted the overall commitment to digital transformation and the need to make use of data, in the cloud or at the edge.

Challenges to IoT deployments remain, particularly around integration, privacy, security and cost. Businesses also find it challenging to navigate the complex and fragmented IoT vendor ecosystem. The potential market for private wireless networks adds further complexity: the GSMA Intelligence Enterprise in Focus Survey shows that 22% of enterprises require location-specific coverage (e.g. for a campus or factory).

This session will discuss how ecosystem players can help simplify and scale deployments, leverage partnerships and address the challenges facing enterprises on their digital transformation journey in the 5G era.
