Sierra Wireless and GSMA have come together to organise the first ever Mobile IoT Innovators Challenge to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in the Mobile IoT industry. The call is open to early and later-stage startups that show promise in being able to scale and impact up to a billion people worldwide over the next 10 years. If your company applies distributed computing technologies across the smart edge and the cloud, this challenge is for you.
The grand prize innovator will be awarded a $50,000 USD cash prize, and one recipient will win the opportunity to demo their solution to thousands of attendees at MWC Barcelona 2020.

| Thursday, 24 October | Each finalist will have 5 minutes to present live to a panel of up to six judges, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A. (15:00 – 17:00 CET)
Two (2) finalists will be selected to present live to the Innovation Summit attendees (17:20 – 17:30 CET) |

Awards & Recognition
Grand Prize (1)
$50,000 USD cash prize + media coverage + access to market and technology experts at Sierra Wireless and the broader mobile and IoT industry.
GSMA Mobile IoT Innovators Prize (1)
Participation in the GSMA Innovation City at MWC Barcelona 2020, the largest mobile event in the world with over 109,000 attendees. This finalist will be selected based on having created an innovative and creative solution that uses LTE-M or NB-IoT technology and reflects the MWC20 theme ‘Limitless Intelligent Connectivity’.
