With nearly 20 years of experience in wireless communications research and development management, product planning and market development, Dr. Guan Bao has worked at Bell, Xenon Technologies and Intel in Shanghai, and is currently responsible for market development and product planning for Hytera’s global 4G and 5G businesses. Dr. Guan Bao has a deep understanding of 4G, 5G related technologies and products, has extensive experience in the operator market and industry market, and is committed to promoting division of labour and collaboration under an open framework to build a broader ecosystem through innovative cooperation models.

Dr Lee Rong

CMO, AI-Link

Dr. Rong has more than 15 years of experiences in the field of telecommunication with particular focuses on mobile technologies, as well as more than 5 years experiences in Industrial IoT (IIoT). More specifically, he has been deeply involved in 4G (LTE), 5G and Cellular IoT (i.e., NB-IoT) from early research and standardization until the later ecosystem building, strategy and deployment of these technologies. Since 2012 he has been involved in 5G, first with DoCoMo and then Softbank during his various customer engagement roles at Ericsson Japan.

In his last role at Ericsson China (2015-2017), he was responsible for the overall 5G and IoT cooperation with China Mobile, the largest operator in the world. During the time, he successfully led several “world’s first” engagement with China Mobile on 5G and IoT, including launching the “world’s first cellular based connected factory” initiative with China Mobile and Intel in Nanjing, China. From 2017-2020, he worked as the CMO of Foxconn 5G IIoT research center driving the overall market development of 5G+IIoT within Foxconn. Since August 2020, he has been working as CMO in AI-Link, a technology company focusing on the deployment of 5G + Edge Computing for vertical industries. Most recently in Nov 2020 he has been awarded the title of “Industrial Internet Expert” by the Guang Dong provincial government in China.

Kai Li

Mr Li is currently the Vice President and General Manager of Solutions for H3C, responsible for solution planning, development and strategy.

Mr Li has over 20 years of industry experience in IT and telecommunications. Prior to joining H3C, Mr Li worked in HP China Ltd as Vice President and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) as the Vice Dean of Computer Science Department. He is currently a visiting professor at BUPT.

Pengfei Sun

Head of of 5G-2B Solutions Department of Huawei ICT Strategy Marketing and Solutions Department, Huawei

Pengfei Sun, the Head of 5G-2B Solutions Department of Huawei ICT Strategy Marketing and Solutions Department. With more than 20 years of experience in the ICT field, he has deep accumulation in the wireless communications field. He has served as the technical director of Huawei’s wireless product line OSS, and the CTO of the wireless network SingleOSS product management department. He is currently responsible for 5GtoB solutions in the Huawei ICT Strategy Marketing and Solutions Department Program innovation and expansion work. Long-term research on future-oriented 5GtoB solutions, a deep understanding of the relationship between 5G, cloud and industry applications, and unique insights into the current development status and future development trends of 5GtoB.

Thomas Noren

Head of Dedicated Networks, Ericsson

Thomas Noren is Head of Dedicated Networks business at Ericsson. Dedicated Networks leverages Ericsson’s product and service portfolios to modernize private communication systems or drive enterprise digitalization with 4G and 5G. Dedicated Networks support Operators and their channel partners to serve enterprises in Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, Transport, Utilities and other industries.

Throughout his career Thomas has worked with leading-edge technologies. Most recently he led Global 5G Commercialization for Ericsson. He is credited for leading Ericsson’s global success with 4G/LTE and for initiating and introducing the Ericsson Radio System — Ericsson’s modular and highly efficient hardware platform for radio networks that was designed to be 5G prepared from start. Thomas also introduced NB-IoT and the DOT.

Thomas joined Ericsson in 1997 and has held executive positions in product management, R&D, and sales. Prior to joining Ericsson, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Thomas has an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He has lived and worked in France, Japan, and the US.

Xiaodong Zhang

Aruna Srinivasan

Aruna Srinivasan is the Executive Director of IoT Capabilities at the GSMA. Ms. Srinivasan directs the IoT Big Data, Edge Computing and 5G IoT Manufacturing initiatives, working with mobile operators and ecosystem partners to develop new technology enablers and drive market adoption. Ms. Srinivasan has over 18 years of strategy, technology and programme delivery experience with the GSMA, Third Horizon Consulting, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Australia Gas Lighting and Arthur Andersen Consulting. She holds Bachelor of Software Engineering and Master of Commerce degrees from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Kevin Pang

Head of Strategic Engagement, Greater China, GSMA

Kevin Pang has joined GSMA since Feb 2016. In this role, Kevin is responsible for developing regional strategy and managing impactful local industry executive relationships in China.

He is also promoting GSMA 5G/IoT/eSIM/Climate Change programme regionally.

Prior to the GSMA, Kevin held position of Head of Marketing at Nokia Networks Greater China.

He has 20 years of experience of management in telecom industry with proven track record in driving business strategy, product strategy and marketing campaign. He served in several technology, services, sales and marketing positions in Nokia Networks and Ericsson before.

Kevin received an MBA in Guanghua School of Management from Peking University.
