This report provides a review of the current status of planning for digital TV switchover in Latin America, with a specific focus on five countries, namely Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Argentina. This introductory chapter provides a brief overview of the current status of digital TV spectrum in Latin America and compares the available technologies. The second chapter provides more in-depth analysis of
the situation in each of the five countries.
